Episode 41 ~ Meet Colleen Fitzpatrick, Ph.D. of Forensic Genealogy

Myrt's guest for the podcast is Colleen Fitzpatrick, Ph. D. from www.ForensicGenealogy.info, who will be presenting at the upcoming St. George Family History Expo 2009, to be held 27-28th February at the Dixie Center in St. George, Utah. This year's theme is  "CyberExchange 101: Learn the tech to search your roots".

Colleen is the Principal Genealogist for the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory. She is the author of three bestselling books on genealogy and an award-winning author and columnist who writes for all major genealogical publications. Colleen has been recognized internationally for her work for AFDIL on the crash of Northwest Flight 4422 and as a member of the team that identified the Unknown Child on the Titanic.

There are many approaches to identifying old photographs that you have likely never considered before. After attending this presentation, you will never look at your old photos the same way again!

Classes
Pre-registration (through 14 Feb 2009) is $60 for the classes. At the door registration is $65. You will receive a registration packet, name tag, CD syllabus, and a goody bag. Please pick these up when you check in at the event.  For those wishing to receive their syllabus as a printed book there is an additional cost of $24.95 plus shipping. Books will not ship until after the event. For your convenience we will have them available to pick up at the Expo if you like.
