Duff is a Sr. User Interface Designer for Ancestry's Family Tree Maker, has 18 years of software design and development experience. His interfaces have won national awards for usability and innovation. Duff is an avid genealogist and, in his design work coordinates closely with countless other genealogists, ranging from novice to expert

DUFF'S CLASS

TITLE: Family Tree Maker 2009
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: All levels
DESCRIPTION: (Ancestry's genealogy management software). This class gives an introduction to the new 2009 version of Family Tree Maker and includes the following topics: getting started, customizing the interface, adding information about your ancestors, working with places, adding pictures and other media, documenting your sources, creating printed output, and searching Ancestry.com and the Web from Family Tree Maker.

Classes
Pre-registration (through 1 Nov 2008) is $75 for the classes. Late registration is $90. At-the-door registration is $50 per day. You will receive a registration packet, name tag, CD syllabus, and a goody bag. Please pick these up when you check in at the event.  For those wishing to receive their syllabus as a printed book there is an additional cost of $24.95 plus shipping. Books will not ship until after the event. For your convenience we will have them available to pick up at the Expo if you like.

The exhibit hall is open to the public at no cost.
