Episode 10 ~ Meet Billy Edgington of Gilroy, California

Welcome to Episode 10 of the Family History Expos Genealogy Podcast series, with your host DearMYRTLE.

Myrt's guest for the podcast is Billy Edgington, from Indian Scout Books www.indianscoutbooks.com who will be presenting at the upcoming Mesa Arizona Family History Expo, to be held 14-15 November 2008 at the Mesa Convention Center. This year's theme is  "CyberExchange 101: Learn the tech to search your roots".

Billy has been doing genealogy for over 40 years, and is a well-regarded Native American researcher. She attended one year at San Jose. Three years at Antioch College. BA in History from University of California, Irvine 1975. She is co-author of Vital Information from the Guion Miller Roll, a descriptive index to the Miller Roll Applications. Author of African Cherokee Connections a compilation of African applicants to the Miller Roll who claimed Cherokee ancestry.

Classes
Pre-registration (through 1 Nov 2008) is $75 for the classes. Late registration is $90. At-the-door registration is $50 per day. You will receive a registration packet, name tag, CD syllabus, and a goody bag. Please pick these up when you check in at the event.  For those wishing to receive their syllabus as a printed book there is an additional cost of $24.95 plus shipping. Books will not ship until after the event. For your convenience we will have them available to pick up at the Expo if you like.

The exhibit hall is open to the public at no cost.
