Myrt's guest for the podcast is Gordon D. Booth, Ph.D. who will be presenting at the upcoming Mesa Arizona Family History Expo, to be held 14-15 November 2008 at the Mesa Convention Center. This year's theme is  "CyberExchange 101: Learn the tech to search your roots".

GORDON'S CLASS

TITLE: Getting Acquainted with English Family History
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Beginner
DESCRIPTION: This class will focus on the elements of English culture, history and industry--as they affect Family History research. Important information sources will be covered as well as their general availability. The dates of historic events will be discussed, explaining how they affect the types of records that were kept. Key dates will be highlighted along with explanations of how they point to likely (and available) sources of family history details

Classes
Pre-registration (through 1 Nov 2008) is $75 for the classes. Late registration is $90. At-the-door registration is $50 per day. You will receive a registration packet, name tag, CD syllabus, and a goody bag. Please pick these up when you check in at the event.  For those wishing to receive their syllabus as a printed book there is an additional cost of $24.95 plus shipping. Books will not ship until after the event. For your convenience we will have them available to pick up at the Expo if you like.

Exhibit Hall
The exhibit hall is open to the public at no cost.
